Linda Dixon (née Parker, 1958-1961) wrote to the Old Godhelmian Association:

It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that Carol passed away in March this year.
She was a loving wife to Ray, a mother to Helen and grandmother to Peter and James.
Carol had worked at the Institute of Oceanographic Sciences and later at the Natural History
Museum in London where she discovered a new marine species (Ostracod of the genus
Euconchoecia). She gained her PhD at Queen Mary University in 2012.
