Cherry Webb (née White) passed away on 18 August, peacefully in hospital in Guildford, aged 86 after a short illness.

Cherry and her twin sister Hazel were joint Head Girls in 1953/54. They grew up in Dunsfold and after her marriage, Cherry lived close to the grammar school, in Busbridge. She later ran Milford Post Office with her husband Paul, and lived in Witley. She had three sons, two grandchildren, and recently became a great-grandmother for the second time.

Cherry enjoyed singing with Godalming Choral Society, and other choirs, loved theatre, U3A and watching athletics. She will be much missed by her family and many friends.
