Angela was a keen sports woman representing the school in Tennis Lacrosse Hockey and Athletics she went on to read Geography at Queen Mary  together with Kay White formerly Liz Chandler( later she was a brides maid to Liz at her marriage to David) At college she represented England at Lacrosse. She continued to be a keen tennis player all her life.

She went on to become an inspirational Geography teacher at Peter Simmonds and later became a town planner .

Together with her husband and two daughters she enjoyed sailing and holidays abroad.  Her husband and one daughter pre deceased her.

In later life she spent many happy years at White House continuing to play tennis and also enjoying gardening.

At the memorial service her daughter Carol read the poem  Sea Fever by John Masefield to incredible effect.
