You will  know about John Noble, who died on Good Friday. He was in a hospice for just the last few days. Barbara and I went to the West London Crematorium for the Service. We did not know many people there, except for the family, but unless I failed to recognise someone, I do not think there were any other OGA folk there and in that sense I was pleased to be able to represent the Association.The eulogy was given by Ian Partridge, a well known soloist, who, having kept a diary of all his engagements, reckoned that he had shared the soloists’ platform with John on 36 occasions!I am keeping in touch with Angela, who came with John to all the recent reunions, and she is managing well and keeping busy with her music teaching.
