Josephine died in hospital at Easter 2023. She had suffered a serious stroke a couple of years ago and had been in hospital since then.

Josephine lived with her husband, Michael,  in Escrick,Yorkshire. They have three children and eight grandchildren.

Mike was a whistle-blower over 20 years ago concerning climate change, and he was an authority on the matter for many years.
