From his Daughter Polly –

John was head boy in his last year. A remarkable achievement as he was one of the first boys to survive after a severe attack of polio.

John had such fond memories of school (and quite an amazing memory for his age!). He told us of lots of stories when he was head boy.  He even kept his school cap all these years!

He leaves a wife, Christine and daughters Phoebe and Polly
