Clive moved to Scotland in 1970 and whilst he made regular trips to Godalming, it wasn’t easy to keep up with friends from his school days, although he was always pleased to hear news of old friends.  He did in fact go to a reunion of the Anglican Young People’s Association from Godalming church about three years ago where he enjoyed recalling days gone by with old friends.  Whilst Clive had heart problems for a number of years, his death was unexpected and his wife said that she was glad that they had had a wander round the school, vastly changed, the summer before he died.
